Sun Life Financial has appointed Sujoy Ghosh as chief executive officer, high net worth ( HNW ), effective November 4. He will lead the company’s global HNW business, with operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bermuda, deepening partnerships and enhancing capabilities to strengthen Sun Life’s position as a leading market player in HNW insurance.
Ghosh brings 27 years of experience in leadership roles spanning insurance and banking across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. He joins Sun Life from Citi, where he was most recently head of global insurance and Asia head of business development, Citi Wealth, responsible for the bank’s global insurance operations and business development in Asia. Prior to joining Citi, Ghosh was regional head of bancassurance for Asia-Pacific at Allianz, responsible for establishing and managing commercial and strategic partnerships across life and general insurance in the region.
Based in Singapore, Ghosh will report to Sun Life Asia president Manjit Singh.
